You've gotta go over to Tiffin and enjoy a meal. I think in general Indian and Asian food is underpriced in America. This is a perfect example of a meal I paid $16 for that I would have gladly paid $26 for. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. On a chilly day the warm and spicy curries we had hit the spot. The vegetable samosas were awesome. And as mentioned, the price was a steal. I'd come back in a heart beat.
Absolutely excellent Indian. I and all my friends in Philly swear by Tiffen for years. How Tiffen managed to make Lamb Saag so consistently perfect I will never understand. Sometimes the meat is less then soft...but other than that situation it is excellent.
Naan is always buttery delicious, Mango Chutney not too sugary..lahsis are great. Aloo Ghobi is very tasty.
I eat here every week and it is so good. In an area with seemingly 20 Indian Restaraunts per square foot, Tiffen and Jalsa take the win. Both are excellent.

Although a chain, Tiffin does it right. The food is amazing. The flavors are there. The consistency is there. The tikka is spot on. Two things to note. I was confused by the raw carrots/peas on top of the rice. Would definitely leave that off, or cook the carrot. The green chili naan was spicy, just as I like it. But something was missing. The dough was flavorless. I would suspect it needs just a hint of salt. Otherwise, Tiffin never disappoints and it really hit the spot!! I wish I was able to make it for lunch. The prices are reasonable and you get more for your money it seems. Dinner can be pricey. But it is worth it. This location was very clean and service was great! Will definitely be back.
I had tiffin years ago when I had a friend in Chestnut Hill. Then I learned of their King of Prussia location, away from the mall, and close to dairy Queen. Where the long term locals call this the town center, not the one near 422. So far I've only done take away.
