Service is awesome even when they are busy. The staff was friendly and observant. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.

Best Indian Food In South Philadelphia . I was in Philadelphia Superbowl Sunday and the thought of sitting in my hotel room to watch the game made me get in a cab just to go somewhere. I had brunch at a place called Tashan and they suggested I go here to watch the game and I am glad I did. I had a fresh margarita when I got there. They actually squeeze their own lemons and limes. I was there for hours and got hungry again, I thought I would order something small and I ordered chili chicken. It was amazing. I ordered a second one for, I guess, you'd call it dinner. I wound up ordering a third by the fourth quarter. What an ending of the the game. This place really made my day and I wasn't too hungover Monday morning. I might go back to this place before I leave Friday nigh

The lunch special is an insanely amazing deal! Amazing portions and quality Indian food. They also have so many great vegetarian options. Plus, they're BYOB!

I eat a lot of Indian food (it's my favorite) and I've lived a LOT of places, and I've had a LOT of good Indian. Tiffin is right up there. I order using Grubhub on a weekly (sometimes biweekly) basis, and I'm never disappointed. Never. Always fast, always correct, and always delicious. Every once in a while, it'll be a little spicier than I ordered, but I never mind that. I also eat in the restaurant sometimes, because it's close and onion bhaji is heavenly when it's freshly made (no delivery service anywhere can get it to you fast enough for it to be perfectly crisp and hot), and the customer service in house is a little quirky, for sure, but I kinda dig it. It's kind of love-it-or-leave-it, which is my jam.
Tiffin South Philly has made me dinner in all shapes. I've eaten in, I've picked up and I've had them drop it off. I even, one time, thought I said delivery but said pick up. When they called to check on me, I asked if they would deliver. Not only did they but the food was piping hot which meant they gave me fresh dishes. The food is always delicious, always on time when delivered, and always a very pleasant experience over all. If you order on special days there is special pricing on their website. Check it out
